Q: What is distinctive about Interop Technologies' solutions for telecom operators?

A: Interop maintains total ownership and quality control of the building, testing, hosting, and technical support process. It is the only company providing flexible hosted, modified hosted, and turnkey deployments to suit today's challenging economic conditions and fit any operator's business model. Interop is the only solutions provider offering a simple, seamless migration from hosted to turnkey solutions that lowers risk by eliminating the disruption of changing technology platforms, just as volume is peaking.

Q: How is Interop Technologies addressing the current downturn in the economy?  What are you doing to get ahead of the competition?

A: One of Interop's core strengths is offering hosted messaging and device management platforms. With the current downturn in the economy, Interop provides high value as a hosted solutions provider. Operators do not have to let the financial constraints of today dictate their long-term strategy. Interop offers easy migration from hosted services to turnkey solutions,  an enormous benefit to operators in this economy.

Q: Tell us about the hosted Interop Common Short Code Gateway.  What does it mean for wireless operators?

A: Interop's Common Short Code Gateway supports delivery of short-code content for customers and enhances competitiveness for wireless operators. The CSC Gateway makes the mobile experience interactive by enabling voting participation and creation of local promotional campaigns. Using Interop's CSC Gateway, wireless operators can work with organizations in the community, such as radio and TV broadcast stations, to offer revenue-generating, local short-code campaigns. The CSC Gateway also provides operators with a single point of connection to numerous content aggregators, enabling their customers to access a wide variety of content offerings, such as ringtones, wallpapers, games, and alerts.

Q: What publications do you routinely follow to stay in the know and help grow your business?

A: Wireless Week, Telephony, Telesemana, BN Americas and news briefs from CTIA and FierceWireless.

Q:Looking ahead: Where do you see your Interop Technologies in the year 2020?

A: We see Interop as the global leader and developer of reliable, scalable, and innovative wireless messaging and device management solutions.

Q: Please tell us what value and opportunities you gain from TIA membership.

A: Interop would like to use the opportunity as a TIA member to network with other wireless solution vendors and operators in the telecommunications industry.  We also look forward to participating in and contributing to the committees and work groups offered by TIA.
